Vianord Engineering to shape an even more attractive product portfolio

Carros, France - 22 September 2021 --- Vianord Engineering is striving to strengthen their position in the area of design and manufacturing of innovative Flexographic Platemaking Equipment.

In the course of this challenging year, Vianord Engineering made important strategic decisions set to secure its long-term success.

As part of the company’s  strategy, the green light was given to launch a new product offensive in full automation and at the same time, the cornerstone was laid for a Product Portfolio Optimization.

Recently the company presented FREEDOM its new technology flagship, which integrates the key future-oriented topics of automation. Vianord Engineering continues to systematically broaden its range of fully automated systems and is increasingly focusing on co-operations with pre-press systems manufactures.

During the second half of this year, great attention is given to the process of product design; incorporating Product Portfolio Optimization into the process.

During the optimization process, “changeability” was considered as a key aspect to improve the robustness of products, as as well as allowing customers to make conscious investments in Vianord products that can be adapted to multiple and future configurations whenever the production conditions require a major change. This ability provides customers with greater flexibility and with improvedrobustness.

As a result of that exercise, with immediate effect Vianord discontinues the EVO 4 D and EVO 5 D units and replaces them with the new, flexible e robust system EVO 4-5 D. Following the same rational, EVO 4 LF and EVO 5 LF are discontinued and are replaced by the EVO 4-5 LF.
