Filter for 1S Servo Drive
A dedicated electromagnetic interference (EMI) / radio-frequency interference (RFI) line filter engineered to suppress high-frequency noise generated on the AC power supply lines of an Omron 1S series servo drive. It operates using a network of inductors and capacitors (LC circuit) placed between the incoming mains electrical supply and the drive's power input terminal to attenuate conductive electromagnetic noise and harmonic distortion. By trapping high-frequency switching noise produced by the servo drive’s internal pulse-width modulation (PWM) power stage, it prevents electrical interference from propagating back into the facility power grid or corrupting adjacent sensitive control sensors, digital communications, and safety circuits, while ensuring compliance with international EMC/CE standards.
